Humana at COP25 2019
The Federation Humana People to People recently attended and exhibited at the COP25 in Madrid, which ran from the 2nd-13th December 2019. COP25 is the largest annual event on climate change, organised by the UNFCCC where governments come together to track progress towards UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol, and the Paris Agreement and make commitments going forward.
As an NGO observer of the UNFCCC, Federation Humana People to People participated in the official program with a stand and a presentation. In addition, Humana Spain participated in the unofficial program with a presentation.
In line with this, Humana People to People members are working together with their communities to take action for climate justice. Its work in textile management and reuse is a pioneer in circular economy and sustainable fashion across Europe; and in developing countries it works to sustainably build resilience in communities most affected.
